About Schulphoek Guest House
Our efforts at sustainability, which began in 1999 with water harvesting, solar heating and a salt water pool have been continued in our 2017 renovation. Our vision is to be both carbon neutral as well as bio-dynamic. Our integrated solar, water and cooling systems pair with green building materials used consistently through our new renovation.
We have invested in the local people and the community. Our aim is to enhance and benefit families that were previously disadvantaged.
Schulphoek staff are sourced from the Hermanus area. Since many staff come from disadvantaged backgrounds Schulphoek House has invested in training and development through learner ship training programmes both internally and externally.
As a 5-Star establishment we are dedicated to delivering service excellence with the local flair of South African traditional hospitality.
